One could easily be forgiven for thinking that the bombing of Judi Bari and Darryl Cherney on May 24, 1990 would have derailed Redwood Summer and ended the Earth First! movbement for all time. However the opposite happened. Redwood Summer notonly took place in the Summer of 1990, it wound up being far bigger than anyone could have predicted and succeeded far beyond the wildest dreams of its organizers.
The following chapters were originally meant to be included in Redwood Uprising, but that proved impossible, because it would have turned it into an epic book longer in length than Tolstoy's War and Peace or Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, so I held them over with the intent of writing a second volume, titled Redwood Summer. Here are those chapters, numbered sequentially as a "sequel". Please note thatthey're only, overall, approximately 95% complete, so I apologize for any errors that you may find. I hope to correct these in time.
